·       To determine the market trends of our products, we will focus on the market in Bintulu, Sarawak.
·       This business is run commercially to gain a wider market. We are expecting the demand for processed broiler chickens will keep increasing.
·       We are planning on producing chicken based products from different breeds and widen our market to other cities in Sarawak such as Kuching and Miri if our business reaches the stability level in years to come.

Expected demand expectations and trends in demand

Generally, the demand for boiler chicken is expected to rise. The poultry farm business is a growing business that continues to grow  as the population grows. Additionally, people these days are conscious  of  what they consume, and chickens are highly nutritious. This means that there’s always a demand for chickens. This situation is to cater the needs of the current local market.


Target Market
·       The selling of our product are targeted to the households.
·       Most of  the processed chicken products are directly sold on the local supermarkets where it is easier for the consumer to make a purchase.
·       The processed chicken are marketed in the form processed chicken to the supermarkets in Bintulu.

Product
Our company provides processed broiler chicken.
·       We are producing a good quality processed chicken at competitive prices.
·       The products we offers has certified HALAL logo which is based on the terms are required by ‘Sistem Pensijilan Halal Malaysia’  that we have fulfill:-
-       There is at least 2 muslim workers in the production section.
-       BC Poultry farm’s produce halal products only
-       Has legal slaughter certificate for slaughter process
-       Not selling alcoholic beverage or any forbidden items for food processing
·       BC Poultry Farms provides unique packaging to prevent the processed chicken from going bad by serving well for storage purposes.
·       The process chicken meat is vacuum-packed to preserve freshness and maintain the quality.

BC Poultry Farm’s strategies in services are:
·       Receive feedbacks regarding our products  so that improvements can be made to satisfy the customers.
·       Take appropriate and fast action when receiving any complaint from customers.

Price

·   The price has been placed is for 1kg of boiler chicken.
·       BC Poultry Farms company sets low prices in order to beat other competitors in the market to gain a bigger market share.
·       We will raise the prices as times goes by according to the market price.
·       Our company will be able to increase the price of our products when the market users increase.

Place
·       The products will be delivered directly to supermarket outlets in Bintulu, Sarawak such as Farley, MDS and Sing Kwong where the local customers usually go to purchase poultry products.


Promotion

Our strategies of advertising:
·       Launching the company’s website or blog to facilitate the management .
·       Expose our products through social media that will attract customers as we promoting our product advantages in order to reach our target customers.
-       We will make promotions through Facebook and Instagram.
·  Place a banner as a guide for the customers to our place as   well as attract the attention of new customers.
